As Predicted: Pig Popularity Picks Up in U.S.

In a recent post, I noted a trend in Britain towards specially bred miniature pigs or what they are calling teacup pigs. I also predicted that the U.S. would soon follow. It didn’t take long:

And then on Good Morning Yahoo!, a major news outlet introducing the public to a miniature potbelly pig breeder and her pigs, Hog Wild: Mini pigs are the latest trend for pet owners.

I like that pigs are popular. I like mine. I just hope that they aren’t treated the way Peta thinks Paris will treat hers: Peta slams Hilton’s pig purchase
